This week -
Noah went into a kiddy pool for the first time
He had a run in with a cactus for the first time - not fun
He went swimming in a real pool for the first time
Its been a busy week for everyone - we are trying to get the office a bit more up-to-date in the decoration department because we have some clients coming to visit toward the end of the month. So thats been fun - stressful because Kevin and I dont agree all the time on just how 'up-to-date' and stylish we want to make it. BUT - every improvement counts in the end.
We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary this year! I just cant believe its been that long already! My friend Laura watched Noah for us so we could go out on a DATE - one of the very few dates we have had in a year! We went to the YARDHOUSE to have some the best steaks EVER. It was really nice to get to eat a whole meal uninterrupted. It felt sort of strange really - the entire time I felt like I was forgetting something. But it was nothing a Mojito couldn's fix! hehe
NEXT WEEK is Noah's 1st BIRTHDAY!!! Can you believe it!!?!?! I think we decided at the last minute to have a small BBQ at the house on the 20th. Im getting more and more excited - 1st birthdays are more for the parents than the child, I am learning!

That is awesome! Dates are really nice, but I know what you mean. It is like forgetting your purse or cell phone at home, or your left arm! :P Way to go, Noah, on getting in the big-kid pool! You must be so proud!! Happy birthday, little man. Oh, and mama, don't forget- it may be your son's first birthday, but it is also your first anniversary of being a mother! :hugs!:
